Relatives

We have been down to Alicante airport twice in two days. This time to collect Joni and Ant. Good to see them when Harry had been unwell. Lots of lazing and relaxation ahead for them, we hope, then back down on Thursday. Temperatures very hot and 36 for Saturday coming! Oh boy!

Lying down

It's quiet and just the whirring sound of the fan at 9.26 on the first Monday alone for a while. We went looking for lemons yesterday but no sign other than next year's green fruit. Must be an amazing site when they all come out bright yellow. Beautiful sight and smell.

Verdi Vent

Went for a meal up in the hills outside Jalon at Verdi Vent. Amazing fun with wonderful music and great food. Gail and Trevor seemed to like and Sue and Hannah and I returned to one of our old favourites.

Am on holiday and it's amazing!

Here we are in Spain with a really hot first night. Thought back to yesterday when Jim and Morge took us out.

First blog and retirement from teaching

This is the first entry in my online blog. I have completed my professional work yesterday so I am now free to begin my arty ambitions. And I am 60 next month!
